As summer vacations begin, students and parents alike seek the fun-filled learning opportunities that Summer Camps provide. The activities in these camps help students grow strong both physically and mentally. The Summer Camp being organised at Mount Carmel Vidhyapeeth, Palia Haider, Sanwer Road, started from 2nd May 2017 under the guidance of Mr. Ajay Dindorkar, Mr. Manish Bundela and Ms. Sapna Tirpude. The opening ceremony was blessed by Managing Trustee, San Thome Educational Trust - Mr. Mathew Koshy. On this occasion, Principal of Mount Carmel Hr. Sec. School, Ms. Jolly Abraham, Administrator of Mount Carmel Vidhyapeeth, Mr. Abraham Joseph and Headmistress, Ms. Rijeena Thomson, were present. In the summer camp, children are participating in various activities like karate, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Cricket, Basket Ball, T.T., Badminton, Chess, Art & Craft, Yoga, etc. under the guidance of experienced trainers and instructors. Besides free bus facility, nutritious and delicious refreshment is also being provided to the participants.
MCV's first academic session 2018-19 saw many co-curricular activities like English and Hindi poem recitation, drawing, rakhi making, gift wrapping, greeting card making and musical chair for Classes Nursery to IX. All the students participated wholeheartedly and the best performers were awarded.
