Evaluation and Promotion
Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory for all the students for promotion to the next higher class.
Continuous and comprehensive evaluation is done by the facilitators, so that the learners have a better opportunity to understand and improve themselves.
Both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects are given due recognition.

Each academic session is divided in two terms: Term I (April to September) and Term II (October to March).
In each term two FAs and one SA will be conducted to evaluate a student's learning progress.
Formative Assessment (FA) is of 20 marks each.
Summative Assessment (SA) is of 60 marks each. It includes objective, short answer and long answer questions.
Term I = FA1 + FA2 + SA1 = 20 + 20 + 60 = 100
Term II = FA3 + FA4 + SA2 = 20 + 20 + 60 = 100
Assessment of Computer, Art and GK will be done during regular class time. No exams for these subjects.

Each academic session is divided in two terms: Term I (April to September) and Term II (October to March).
The division of 100 marks for each subject in each term is a follows:
Written Exam 80 marks
Internal Assessment 20 marks
Periodic Assessment 5 marks
Multiple Assessment 5 marks
Portfolio 5 marks
Subject Enrichment Activities 5 marks
Total: 100 marks
In the Term II written exam, syllabus coverage will be as follows for classes VI to VIII:
Class VI: 10% of Term I covering significant topics + entire syllabus of Term II
Class VII: 20% of Term I covering significant topics + entire syllabus of Term II
Class VIII: 30% of Term I covering significant topics + entire syllabus of Term II

It is mandatory for students to appear in all exams.
