Evaluation and Promotion

  • · Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory for all the students for promotion to the

next higher class.

  • · Continuous and comprehensive evaluation is done by the facilitators, so that the

learners have better opportunity to understand and improve themselves.

  • Both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects are given due recognition.

Nursery to Class V

Classes (VI to VIII) :

The academic year will have two terms for classes VI to VIII.

The division of 100 marks for each subject in each term is a follows:

  • Written Exam 80 marks

  • Internal Assessment

      • Periodic Assessment 5 marks

      • Multiple Assessment 5 marks

      • Portfolio 5 marks

      • Subject Enrichment Activities 5 marks

Total : 100 marks


In the Annual Examination written exam, syllabus coverage will be as follows for classes VI to VIII:

Class VI : 10% of 1st term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of 2nd term

Class VII : 20% of 1st term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of 2nd term

Class VIII : 30% of 1st term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of 2nd term

Periodic Test 1 July

Periodic Test 2 September

Periodic Test 3 December

Pre-Board (X) February

Annual Exams (IX) March

Note: Changes can be made as per directions received from CBSE.


It is mandatory for students to appear in all exams.
